Privacy Policy for PaperEarn

PaperEarn Media (“PaperEarn”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the PaperEarn – Tech Updates Hub Android application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you use the App, why it is processed, and the choices available to you. For privacy questions, contact gogonegame@gmail.com.

Information you provide

The App does not require you to create a PaperEarn account. If you contact us by email or submit information through a linked webpage or WordPress feature, we process the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, or comment, to respond to you and operate that feature.

Information processed automatically

  • App and content requests: the App retrieves articles and related content from paperearn.com. Standard server logs may include IP address, request time, requested page, browser or app information, and diagnostic data.
  • Advertising and consent: Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google’s User Messaging Platform may process IP address (which can indicate approximate location), advertising or app-set identifiers, app interactions, ad interactions, and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. Where required, the App requests consent before requesting ads and provides a privacy-options entry when available.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics for Firebase may process app-instance identifiers, device and app information, approximate location derived from network information, usage events, and diagnostics to help us understand and improve the App.
  • Push notifications: OneSignal may process a push subscription token, device and app information, language, timezone, country, notification permission status, session information, IP address, and notification interactions to deliver and measure notifications. The App does not send your email address or phone number to OneSignal.
  • On-device information: preferences such as theme, saved articles, and other App settings may be stored locally on your device.

The App does not request precise GPS location permission.

How information is used

Information is used to deliver articles and notifications, remember App preferences, display and measure advertising, obtain consent where required, analyze performance and usage, diagnose problems, prevent abuse and fraud, and respond to support requests.

Service providers and sharing

Information may be processed by service providers that support the App, including Google Play services, Google AdMob, Google’s User Messaging Platform, Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Cloud Messaging, OneSignal, and our website or hosting providers. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies:

We do not sell personal information ourselves. Advertising and analytics providers may process or share data as described in their policies and according to your consent choices and applicable law.

Your choices

  • Use the App’s privacy-options entry, when shown, to review applicable advertising-consent choices.
  • Allow or deny notifications when Android asks, or change notification permission in Android settings.
  • Reset or delete the advertising ID through Android privacy settings where supported.
  • Clear the App’s local data or uninstall the App to remove locally stored preferences.
  • Contact us to request access to or deletion of information controlled by PaperEarn. Provider-controlled data may be subject to the provider’s procedures and retention rules.

Retention

We retain support communications only as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Local App data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the App. Third-party providers retain information according to their own retention policies.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable safeguards, including HTTPS/TLS for supported network communications. No transmission or storage method is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
