Privacy Policy for VoiceLock

Gogone Game (“Gogone Game,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides VoLock: Voice Lock Screen, package name com.gogonego.voicelockscreenpro.screenvoicelock (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, when third-party services may process it, and the choices available to you.

1. What VoLock does

VoLock displays an app-managed lock-screen overlay. A user can unlock that overlay with a saved spoken phrase or an alternate PIN. VoLock does not replace Android’s built-in device lock or provide biometric voice identification.

2. Information processed by the App

App settings Remembers service status, visual preferences, audio cues, and vibration choices. Stored locally on the device.

VoLock does not intentionally store raw microphone recordings. We do not require an account and do not ask for a name, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, or payment information.

3. Permissions and device capabilities

  • Microphone: used for speech recognition during setup and voice unlock.
  • Display over other apps: used to display the VoLock overlay above other apps.
  • Notifications and foreground service: used to keep the enabled lock service visible and operating as expected.
  • Run at startup: used to restore the lock service after a device restart or app update when the user previously enabled it.
  • Internet and network state: used by advertising, consent, crash reporting, and speech services that require a network connection.
  • Vibration and wake lock: used for optional feedback and reliable presentation of the active lock-screen flow.
  • Advertising ID: may be accessed by Google Mobile Ads for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention, subject to device settings and consent requirements.

Permissions can be reviewed or revoked in Android Settings. Revoking microphone or overlay access prevents the related VoLock feature from working. The foreground service can be stopped by turning the service off in VoLock or by using Android’s service controls.

4. Advertising and consent

VoLock uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner and interstitial ads. The SDK may automatically collect and share an IP address (which may be used to estimate general location), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android Advertising ID and App Set ID. This information is used for advertising, ad measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention.

VoLock uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request and store advertising privacy choices where required. Available choices depend on region, age-related settings, device settings, and applicable law. Users can also reset or delete the Android Advertising ID through Android privacy settings.

5. Crash reporting

VoLock uses Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes and improve stability. Crashlytics may collect crash stack traces, relevant application state, device and app metadata, installation identifiers, session data, and diagnostics. VoLock may attach the app version, version code, and Android SDK version to a crash report. We do not intentionally attach a saved voice phrase, PIN, or microphone recording to crash reports.

6. Speech recognition provider

VoLock uses Android’s SpeechRecognizer interface. The speech recognition provider is supplied by the device manufacturer, operating system, or another recognition service installed on the device. That provider may process microphone input under its own privacy policy. VoLock requests offline recognition when supported, but offline processing is not guaranteed on every device or for every language.

7. Third-party services

The App uses services provided by Google LLC:

Data processed by these services is governed by their terms, privacy policies, user consent choices, and applicable law.

8. Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be transmitted to the speech recognition provider, Google Mobile Ads, User Messaging Platform, and Firebase Crashlytics for the purposes described above. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users, investigate abuse, or defend legal rights.

9. Data security

Saved voice phrases and PINs are stored in encrypted preferences when Android’s secure storage is available. These credential files are excluded from Android cloud backup and device transfer. Network data used by Google services is encrypted in transit. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Data retention and deletion

The saved phrase, PIN, and preferences remain on the device until changed, cleared through Android app settings, or removed by uninstalling VoLock. Temporary speech input is not retained by VoLock, although the selected speech provider may apply its own retention rules. Crash, diagnostic, consent, and advertising data is retained according to Google service policies and user privacy choices.

VoLock has no user account or developer-hosted profile to delete. Clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling it removes locally stored VoLock data. Privacy questions or requests can be sent to gogonegame@gmail.com.

11. Children’s privacy

VoLock is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information through the App may contact us at gogonegame@gmail.com.

12. International processing

Third-party service providers may process information in countries other than the user’s country. Their processing is subject to their privacy safeguards and applicable data protection requirements.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its SDKs, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are published. Material changes will be communicated where required.
