VolumeMax is an ad-supported audio utility. It does not require an account, record your audio, or request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, files or precise location. Google advertising and crash-reporting services process limited device, usage and diagnostic data as described below.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how the VolumeMax Android application (“VolumeMax”, “the app”, “we” or “us”) handles information. It applies to production versions distributed by Gogone Game.
2. Audio processing
VolumeMax changes the device’s media volume and, on supported devices, applies an Android loudness effect. Audio is processed by Android on the device. VolumeMax does not record, store, transmit or upload the audio you play. The app does not access a microphone or scan your music library.
3. Information stored on your device
The app stores the following preferences locally:
- selected boost percentage and whether Boost is active;
- light, dark or system appearance choice;
- safety-warning acknowledgement; and
- whether the notification-permission prompt has already been shown.
These settings are not uploaded to Gogone Game. VolumeMax disables Android app backup for its own data. You can remove local settings by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app.
4. Permissions and background operation
- Modify audio settings: controls media volume and applies the user-selected effect.
- Notifications: shows the active Boost status and a Turn off action when permission is allowed.
- Foreground service: maintains a Boost that the user explicitly activated while the app is minimized.
- Internet and network state: supports consent, banner advertising and crash diagnostics.
Advertising libraries may also add Android advertising and Privacy Sandbox permissions to the final app manifest. These support ad delivery, measurement, attribution and fraud prevention.
5. Google Mobile Ads
VolumeMax uses Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner advertisements. According to Google’s current Android disclosure, the SDK automatically collects and shares:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- app interactions such as app launches, taps and ad interactions;
- diagnostic and performance information; and
- device or account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID and app set ID where available.
Google uses this information for advertising, analytics, attribution and fraud prevention. Google states that this data is encrypted in transit. Depending on your region, device settings and consent choices, Google may provide personalized, non-personalized or limited ads.
6. Consent and privacy choices
VolumeMax uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request and manage advertising consent where required. If a privacy-options entry point is required for your region, it appears as Privacy choices in the app menu. You can use it to review or change eligible advertising choices. You can also reset or delete the advertising ID through supported Android privacy settings.
7. Firebase Crashlytics
Production builds use Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes, application-not-responding events and non-fatal errors. Crashlytics may process crash stack traces, relevant application state, device model, operating-system information, app version, timestamps and installation identifiers.
VolumeMax adds limited technical context to reports, such as build type, app version, selected boost percentage, whether the audio effect or foreground service was active, consent and ad-loading status, and the technical area where an error occurred. We do not intentionally add a person’s name, email address, message content, audio content or precise location to Crashlytics reports. Firebase Analytics is not included in the audited version of VolumeMax.
8. How information is used
Information processed through the services above is used to:
- provide and measure banner advertising;
- honour applicable consent and privacy choices;
- detect fraud, abuse and invalid ad traffic;
- diagnose crashes, hangs and compatibility problems; and
- maintain and improve app reliability.
9. Sharing and service providers
Gogone Game does not directly sell personal information. Information may be processed by Google LLC and its advertising or infrastructure partners when Google Mobile Ads, UMP and Firebase Crashlytics operate. Advertising disclosures may be treated as “sharing” under Google Play or applicable privacy laws. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect users, the app or legal rights.
10. Retention and deletion
Local preferences remain until you clear app storage or uninstall VolumeMax. Advertising and consent data is retained according to Google’s applicable product policies and user controls. Firebase currently states that Crashlytics crash stack traces and associated identifiers are kept for 90 days before removal from live and backup systems begins.
VolumeMax does not create user accounts. For a privacy or deletion question, email gogonegame@gmail.com. Because the app does not ask for an account or direct personal identifier, we may be unable to associate third-party pseudonymous SDK records with a particular person.
11. Security and international processing
Data sent to Google services is encrypted in transit. No method of electronic processing is completely secure. Google may process data in countries other than the country where you live, subject to its terms and safeguards.
12. Children
VolumeMax is a general audio utility and is not designed or marketed for children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information through a connected service may contact us.
13. Your choices
- Turn Boost off in the app or from its active notification.
- Deny or revoke notification permission in Android settings.
- Open Privacy choices in the app where this option is required.
- Manage or reset advertising identifiers in Android settings.
- Clear app storage or uninstall VolumeMax to remove local settings.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, its service providers or legal requirements change. The revised version will appear at this URL with a new last-updated date.
