Editorial Policy

Last reviewed: August 5, 2026

JustGuider exists to make everyday technology easier to understand. This Editorial Policy explains how we plan, write, review, update, and correct our website and Android app content. It applies to how-to guides, app pages, support information, and policy resources published on justguider.com.

Our editorial principles

  • Useful first: Every page should answer a real user question or explain a practical task.
  • Clear language: We write for everyday users and explain necessary technical terms.
  • Accuracy: Instructions and claims should be supported by reliable information and checked before publication.
  • Transparency: We identify limitations, permissions, third-party services, and material changes that may affect a reader’s decision.
  • User safety: We avoid instructions that unnecessarily expose personal data, weaken device security, or misrepresent an app’s capabilities.

How content is created

Topics are selected from common reader questions, app-support needs, Android changes, and gaps in existing guidance. Writers and editors consult appropriate primary sources whenever possible, including official Android documentation, Google Play listings, device-manufacturer guidance, product documentation, and applicable policy pages. Practical steps may be tested on available devices or checked against the current interface.

Published content is reviewed for clarity, internal consistency, working links, and obvious safety or privacy concerns. Automation tools may assist with formatting, spelling, or quality checks, but publication decisions and accountability remain with the JustGuider editorial team.

App information and privacy content

Individual app pages should describe the app’s purpose without promising unsupported results. Permissions are explained in user-friendly language and should reflect the app’s current functionality. App privacy policies are maintained separately because different apps may use different permissions, services, or data flows. The current Google Play listing and the applicable app privacy policy should be consulted before installation.

Sources and attribution

We prefer authoritative and current sources for technical, privacy, and product claims. When a page relies on another publisher’s research, images, trademarks, or documentation, we aim to provide appropriate attribution and a useful link. Product and company names are used for identification; ownership remains with their respective rights holders.

Reviews and updates

Technology articles can become outdated after an Android release, app update, website redesign, or policy change. Important pages are reviewed when a material change is identified. An update may revise steps, screenshots, links, compatibility details, permissions, or explanatory text. Where useful, a page displays a published, updated, or reviewed date so readers can judge its context.

Corrections

When we confirm a material error, we correct it as soon as reasonably possible. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a separate notice. A correction that changes the meaning of important guidance may be noted on the page. Readers can report an error through the Contact Us page and should include the page URL, the statement or step in question, and any reliable supporting source.

Editorial independence and advertising

Advertising, analytics, affiliate relationships, or third-party services do not give an outside party the right to approve our editorial conclusions. Sponsored or promotional material should be identified when applicable. Advertising is managed separately from the factual standards used for guides, support pages, and privacy information.

Authorship and accountability

Content may be published by JustGuider Editorial Staff or another identified contributor. The editorial team is responsible for maintaining site standards, reviewing feedback, and coordinating corrections. Our About Us page explains the website’s mission, and our Contact Us page provides a direct way to reach us.

Feedback

Constructive feedback helps us improve. To question a claim, request a correction, or suggest a clearer explanation, email contact@justguider.com or use our Contact page. We review genuine submissions, although we may not be able to respond individually to every message.
